Ritual Tools
Always listening for the archaic whisper, I explore liminal thresholds, the imaginal world, deep time, and ancient motifs. I create functional ritual tools to ply in everyday life, celebrating the wheel of the year and the great cycle of life/death/life. Seeking inspiration from ancient symbols found in rock art, Neolithic sites, and my own imagination, I make rawhide, clay, and shell rattles, rawhide hand drums, gathering baskets, natural fiber eco-funeral shrouds, bone throwing kits, eye curtains, ceremonial shawls, gourd vessels, and hand-painted silk altar cloths and scarves.
