Southwestern Metal Art Designs
My metalwork is deeply rooted in the spirit of the Southwest and the ancient imagery etched into its canyon walls. Exploring these timeless landscapes has shaped my creative path, inspiring both my sculptural work and other artistic endeavors. I primarily use gas welding and brazing techniques, working with a combination of salvaged metals, mixed media, and found materials.
As a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, I’ve always been drawn to storytelling through lyrics, rhythm, and sound. That same expressive energy lives in my visual work—each piece shaped not only by fire but by the harmony between intuition, texture, and movement. A true Renaissance woman at heart, I move fluidly between art forms, following creative sparks wherever they lead.
My studio, nestled near the cliffs in the Chama River Valley in Abiquiú, is surrounded by the same land that fuels my imagination—land steeped in ancient echoes and quiet power. For nearly 30 years, I’ve shared my passion by teaching metal art workshops and leading geology-inspired hiking programs at Ghost Ranch throughout the year.
