Functional clay work and various other medias
My work is the product of being a social worker who discovered that my happy and grounding place is being in a creative space or being covered in clay. Working with clay, painting, or getting sucked into my latest mixed media project, all allow me to remain grounded in my work in service to my clients and community. My orientation in the world is one of relationship and community building which is often in the context of shared meals. I create functional pottery with the intention of bringing people together in community over food.
